Located in a secluded setting in the trees on the slopes of Cowboy Heaven, this ski-in/ski-out Big Sky home offers unbeatable access to the activities and slopes of Big Sky Resort, yet quiet seclusion away from the crowds.
Whether you’re planning a family getaway or a ski vacation with friends, there’s plenty of space to relax, unwind, stream country classics on the Sonos sound system, and switch to vacation time in this luxury home. Gather with friends in front of the fire in the great room, play card games and share meals at the dining table and whip up your favorite feasts in the fully-equipped kitchen – you can even pop home for lunch between ski runs!
You’re spoilt with Spanish Peak views from the great room or step outside to a wraparound deck complete with outdoor seating and a BBQ grill for cookouts (and a brand new hot tub being installed for the summer season in April 2022).
This spacious Big Sky vacation home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests in 2 beautifully appointed guest bedrooms, a bonus office room and a spacious loft. The king master suite boasts a king bed with a cozy seating area by the fire and a spacious en-suite bathroom with double vanities and a soaking jacuzzi tub. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Both king suites are on the lower level of the home with private deck access.
The upper level loft area has cathedral ceilings, two twin beds, a full pull-out sofa and a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. On the main level, the bonus office room with a queen sofa sleeper can be used as a guest bedroom or a home office for working remotely in the mountains.
Perched on the sunny slopes in Cowboy Heaven, Moonlight Mountain Homes have direct ski access to the Moonlight and Madison Base areas and are a lift ride away from endless Big Sky outdoor activities. Your luxurious mountain home is beautifully secluded yet only a ten-minute drive to Big Sky’s hub Mountain Village, and a 45-minute scenic drive to the geological wonders of West Yellowstone.

Ski Access is king at the Moonlight Mountain Homes, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort's closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.
Ski Out:
To get to the main Big Sky Resort base you step out the front door and head left to Gambler Way, head through the tunnel out to Powder River Ski Run which will take you to the Moonlight Club Big Sky Lodge and the Iron Horse chair lift (all green access).
To get to the Madison base you step our the front door and head left around the house, across the Cowboy Heaven road and through the ski track to the Natavista Ski Run. You then follow this to the Cinnabar Ski Run which will lead you to the Madison Base (all green access).
Ski In:
Take the Iron Horse or Six Shooter Ski Lifts to the top, then ski down Powder River Run. You will go through the concrete tunnel and immediately take a right onto the Gambler skier bridge onto Gambler Way. Follow Gambler until the road on your left stops and take a left back to the door of your Moonlight Mountain Home (all green access).
