The upper level of the lodge boasts a vaulted great room with classic interiors and the ambience of a true mountain lodge. Relax and reconnect with family and friends in front of the stone-clad wood-burning fireplace, share meals around the grand 10-seater dining table and soak up the dramatic views of evergreens and mountain peaks. The spacious kitchen is custom-built with rustic timber and sleek granite countertops, high-end appliances and extra seating to keep the chef company.
The great room extends to an expansive wrap-around deck for the finest outdoor living in Big Sky. Gather with friends and family for outdoor BBQs, alfresco dining under the stars and soothing soaks in your private hot tub.
Grey Moose Lodge sleeps a maximum of 13 guests in 5 bedrooms with all the comforts of home and more! Enjoy little luxuries like radiant heating, memory foam beds, luxurious linens and timeless interiors. The main level of the home features the king master suite and a queen bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. The bedrooms are perfectly laid out for space and privacy with an en-suite king bedroom and two fun bunkrooms for the kids on the lower level of the home.
When you’re not enjoying the great outdoors, the lower level games room is a great chill space and bonus for large groups. There’s a large flat screen TV and comfy bean bags for movie nights, board games and puzzles for rainy days and bubble hockey for fun!
Grey Moose Lodge is set atop of the slopes of Big Sky and is ideally situated between Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Mountain Village, only minutes away from year-round activities, attractions and mountain events. Moonlight Basin lodging doesn’t get better than this!

Ski access is from the downstairs back door which leads under the deck. Turn left & ski along the side of hill, down approximately 10 yards to the groomed trail. To get to Moonlight Basin: take a right onto Twin Tunnels Trail, skiing down to the Pony Express lift. To go directly to Big Sky Mountain Village: turn left on the groomed trail when exiting the back door and walk a short 50 yards up, past the bridge. Take a hard left on the lower Bozeman Trail Access directly to the Mountain Village.
From Big Sky, follow Jay Walk to BTR road toways Moonlight Basin, to Blue Moon. From Moonlight Basin, follow Fast Lane to Blue Moon. Go approximately 2/3rds of the way down Blue Moon ski run and you will see the trail going back towards Big Sky. Follow this to the right of the Diamond Hitch houses. After 200 yards on this trail take the left fork towards the Pony Express Lift and away from Big Sky Mountain Village. You will go immediately under a road bridge and the house is the first one on the right.

ML Grey Moose Lodge
We loved our stay at Grey Moose Lodge, a beautiful home in Moonlight basin, with easy ski in-ski out access. Big Sky Vacations Rentals were easy to work with and responded every quickly to text messages. We had a wonderful sky vacation with our whole family, which included our four grandsons (5 and under) very new skiers.

We had the best family Christmas ever. The house was big enough to allow 4 little groups of people to come together in the common area, but also allow each little group to have their own space if necessary. It's a beautiful setting.

We rented ML Grey Moose for a week in January. Great service from BSVR. The beautiful home was clean and well maintained. Well stocked with firewood and kitchen products that are essentials. Snow removal service was nice!
